Twilight musings

I did something this evening I've never done before. When twilight was in process,I stepped outside and reflexively pulled the door shut behind me. Not the first time for that, the door locked like it usually does, but this time I had no keys, and my tenant who lives in the other half of my duplex was not home. So I got break in to my own house. I borrowed a step ladder from a neighbor. Would have liked to borrow a neighbor's kid to climb in and open the door for me, butI managed to get in through one of the small windows in the living room without too much fuss.

Not too bad for a 53 year old. The window measures about 18in. X 20in. And I didn't have to go head first. I got one leg over the sill
and pulled the other one in after me.

So much for enjoying the twilight.*sigh*
